Dear friends, welcome to our web site. My name is Alexandos Makris and together with my wife Monika we are the owners of accommodation in Corfu Houmis apartments and the Wood Art shop. Our accommodation in Corfu Houmis studios & apartments are situated in the area of San George in North Corfu, right on the sandy beach. San George has the second biggest beach on the island surrounded by turquoise crystal waters. Visitors often say that it is the most beautiful and cleanest beach on the island. With its peaceful atmosphere it makes the ideal place for families and couples who look for quiet and relaxing holidays and accommodation in Corfu island. Our 5 studios and 1 apartment offer rooms with a beautiful sea view, all just walk distance from the sandy beach.

Wood Art Shop - Nice gift for everyone

Our shop has been opened since 2006. The Wood Art is a cute little shop at the corner of our apartments' building where you can find amazing items for special people travelling with you or yourself. All of the items are hand made either from olive wood or glass,ceramics. There is also a rich choice of jewelry if you feel like making your sweet heart happy. Houmis family is also known to make biological products like olive oil, honey and special home-made liquer which are also offered within the shop.

Sports and Relax in Corfu island

Our summer resort also offers plenty of possibilities for sport lovers. There is a water-sport rental house close-by to our accommodation. Turists of all ages and all interests will find there their piece of love, from speed-boats, jet-ski,windsurfing, canoes, bananas,rings & flyfish,water ski,parasails,pedal boats,scuba diving, trekking, tennis, beach-volley or horse-riding. If you feel like going for a ride around the island or even visit the other islands like Paxos or Antipaxus, we can arrange renting a bike or a car for a very friendly price.
